A couple of years ago I began writing a musical. It tells the story of two friends, Shaina and Jesse as they graduate high school and begin to create their lives. Additionally, the show also deals with family dynamics, and realizing you sometimes must go against familial expectations to find your place in the world.
I had used “To Be Determined” as a placeholder for the title, but ultimately I ended up thinking it fit well. It’s clichéd, but where our lives go is always to be determined.
